Erin Kelly

Erin Kelly is the oldest daughter of Jill Kelly and her husband, retired Buffalo Bills Quarterback and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Jim Kelly. Erin is the oldest of three children; younger sister Camryn–14 and younger brother Hunter (February 14, 1997-August 5, 2005).  Erin has four dogs; a chocolate lab named, Bow; a black lab, called Buddy; and a pocket-size Chihuahua affectionately dubbed, Bella. Rounding off her “dog collection,” is a yorkie named Bentley.

In August 1995, when Erin was just ten-years-old, her younger brother Hunter went to Heaven after an eight-and-a-half year battle with a fatal disease called Krabbe Leukodystrophy. Jim and Jill Kelly established the Hunter's Hope Foundation in September 1997 to help support families with Krabbe children and fund research that could counter, and hopefully one day, cure the disease. As a member of the Kelly Family, Erin helps leukodystrophy children and their families by helping her parents raise awareness and research funds for this devastating malady. Because Erin is now old enough, she was recently voted onto the Hunter’s Hope Board and is an active new member.

Erin has always had a passion for writing, journaling and sharing her faith in Jesus. Because of her sincere desire to share her hope in Christ, and as her relationship with Jesus flourishes, Erin will continue to encourage others with the light of her faith that she shines boldly and brightly, and without apology.
